Hi there! I’m a CPAN-certified PACU nurse who, like many others, once stepped into the post-anesthesia care unit feeling a mix of excitement and uncertainty. When I transitioned into PACU nursing years ago, I quickly realized it was a world of its own—this almost “mystical” corner of critical care that few truly understand unless they’ve lived it. It’s fast-paced, high-stakes, and requires a unique blend of critical care knowledge and quick judgment.
Along my journey, I often found myself searching for materials that spoke directly to the PACU experience—something more than 300-page textbooks, and more accessible than the scattered notes we tend to scribble on the job. When I couldn’t find what I needed, I started creating it myself. That’s how this shop was born.
